ProjectWise is a project collaboration and architecture, engineering, construction, (AEC) information management software developed explicitly for the design and construction of AEC infrastructure projects. Unlike traditional document management and collaboration software, ProjectWise is a system of collaboration servers and services for AEC information for the design and construction of infrastructure projects while the work is in progress. It provides scalable, industry-proven, advantages in work-sharing, content re-use, and dynamic feedback.WSDOT originally incorporated ProjectWise in 2005 within the state mega-projects. The Alaskan Way Viaduct, SR520 Floating Bridge, Tacoma HOV, Columbia River Crossing, Triangle Interchange and I-90 Two-Way Transit projects use ProjectWise to manage files and collaborate with internal and external customers. More recently ProjectWise has been used in minor projects and offices that leverage its ability for file access from anywhere in the world.ProjectWise can be accessed through the full-featured ProjectWise Client or through a web browser. WSDOT recommends using the ProjectWise Client whenever possible. The following link will Download the ProjectWise Client. Follow these directions (.doc) to manually register the WSDOT ProjectWise server. Please contact Bentley for assistance with these application installs. Alternatively, users can access ProjectWise through the ProjectWise Web Server. Please review Using the ProjectWise V8i Web Server for more information.

The engine can be used to create three-dimensional (3D) and two-dimensional (2D) games, as well as interactive simulations and other experiences.[7][8] The engine has been adopted by industries outside video gaming, such as film, automotive, architecture, engineering, construction, and the United States Armed Forces.[9]
Automakers use Unity's technology to create full-scale models of new vehicles in virtual reality, build virtual assembly lines, and train workers.[96] Unity's engine is used by DeepMind, an Alphabet Inc. company, to train artificial intelligence.[99] Other uses being pursued by Unity Technologies include architecture, engineering, and construction.[100]
